Supplications for Sisters
These are selected supplications from the Quran and Sunnah that hold special meaning for Muslim women — as mothers, wives, daughters, and servants of Allah.
Dua for a Righteous Spouse
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer
My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.
Quran 28:24 — Musa's dua, widely used as a dua for a good spouse
Dua During Pregnancy
رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ
Rabbi la tadharnee fardan wa anta khayrul waritheen
My Lord, do not leave me alone, and You are the best of inheritors.
Quran 21:89
Dua for Children
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً
Rabbi hab li min ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibah
My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring.
Quran 3:38
Dua in Distress
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.
Quran 21:87 — Dua of Yunus. The dua of distress — for childbirth, hardship, or any difficulty
Dua for Protecting Children
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ
U'eedhuka bi kalimatillahit-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammah
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every harmful thing.

Dua for Marriage
اللَّهُمَّ أَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِنَا
Allahumma allif bayna quloobina
O Allah, unite our hearts.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon
Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we return.
Quran 2:156 — said upon any loss or difficulty
Dua for Inner Beauty
اللَّهُمَّ حَسِّنْ خُلُقِي كَمَا حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِي
Allahumma hassin khuluqi kama hassanta khalqi
O Allah, make my character beautiful as You made my appearance beautiful.
